Door County Thrive will hold their second annual Community Seed Swap and Potluck April 24, 6pm at the Kress Pavilion in Egg Harbor. A seed swap is a chance for the community to come together to share and trade seeds. This year DC Thrive is very excited to be partnering with the Village of Egg Harbor’s Green Tier Team and the ‘new’ Egg Harbor Seed Library!
This event is open to families, gardeners, farmers and anyone else who wants to network and surround themselves with like-minded people. This event is also a potluck, so please bring a potluck item and don’t forget to bring your own plates, blows and utensils.
Whether you’re just starting your very first garden or are a seasoned gardener/farmer, you will walk away with some new knowledge, contacts and inspiration. If you have plans or knowledge you’d like to share, please bring it. You will have the opportunity to chat with people individually or in groups about types of seeds, growing techniques, seed harvesting, etc.
This is DC Thrive’s biggest event of the year! It is a free event and open to the public. For more information visit doorcountythrive.org. The Kress Pavilion is located at 7845 Church St, Egg Harbor, WI 54209 – kresspavilion.org – 920.868.3334 ext. 3.
